The Hydrostatic Transmission in a 3514 industrial is surely the same as one of the ag tractors. Does anyone know which it would be?

3514 HAS THE SAME HYDRO AS THE 656 OR 544

Since you haven't received any other replies, I'm going to go way out on a limb and guess that it is similar to the British-built utility Hydro 84. IH had three different styles of hydros used on farm tractors. The big frame U.S. built tractors like the 1026, Hydro 100, Hydro 186, and 3488 had their own, The small frame U.S. built 656 Hydro, 544 Hydro, 666 Hydro, Hydro 70, and Hydro 86 had their own, and the British Hydro 84 had it's own. If your tractor is U.S. built, it may be the same as the 656 style. Try to find Hydro tractors in your area and compare.

Thank you very much that helps alot. I've been researching and finding all those models but never understood there relationship like that. I did read somewhere that they also thought it might be a hydro84.

Thanks Tom
