Anyone know of a replacement for the oil seal for the "seed planter drive" which is found on the inside of left hand final drive on A's, SA's, and 100's?

Mines bad and is leaking final drive oil all over my shop floor. :( The IH part number is #384807R91

This is a little coupling that attaches to the axle shaft and protrudes from the inside of the left hand final drive. It's a little felt oil seal and mines Kaput! :(

Is there a NAPA replacement? Maybe a neoprene lip type seal perhaps????

Patrick, that same guy you was getting the overhaul kit from has them as well. Nearly every part for these tractors are still available. If it was a Case it may be a different matter, but Farmall parts are availble for most part. That should be available at good auto stores if you can match it up. Since you have the number that should be no problem. Call Brad he will send it right to you.

Case still has them. I also got one from a seal and bearing place by just taking the old one in and they matched it.

The seal retainer will hold two seals if you decide to use two. Pack the middle with greese.
