Hi,
My Dad bought a 1936 Farmall F-20. The engine is stuck so I removed the plugs to put some penetrating oil in the cylinders. When I removed the plugs, they were smaller Autolite spark plugs. The F-20 usually has large spark plugs, but there is some part that is threaded into the original sized spark plug holes in the cylinder head so the smaller plug will fit. What are they for? Are they hard to find? I've never seen anything like them before. If you can't understand my post, I can take a photo if that would help.

Thanks,
Andy.

Andy: you used to be able to purchase extenders that fit the spark plug hole. the extender had a small round hole. theory was that if a motor was fouling plugs, it would be harder for oil to reach plugs. Champion used to make these extenders. James

These are an adapter so newer plugs can be used. I have seen them advertised but I can't recall the company's name.
Hope this helps you some, Bob
