I recently bought a 3082 Series A backhoe. What was the time period the series A and Series B were made? What is the difference between the Series A and Series B.

Check your model number. I think you have a model 3820. Have you had one of the drive tires fall off yet? The lug bolts are threaded on each end with a flange in the middle. The inner nuts are inside the brake drums and you will never know if they are loose until wheel falls off. You have to take hub bearings apart to check inner nuts. Better check about this with your local mechanic and get all repair and parts books. Armand

There is a 3082 and if Im right its a crawler so no wheel issues there. Im not sure the diff A or B. My 2500 is a mystery too. Has A and B models of BOTH diesel and gas (mine is diesel) so no idea. The manuals dont tell either and I have all 3. Parts, service and repair manuals have no mention of the diff.
