I know people are posting often wondering "what's it worth, so I just thought I'd post what things brought at an auction I was just at....I say kinda in the title because I dont remember the specific amounts..... anyways, north central Nebraska sandhills ranch estate auction. 100+ degrees out.

Farmalls on the auction included one A, one Super A, two B's, and two C's and an M. The straight A had a mounted sicklebar mower, the two B's had mounted 15ft dump rakes(with pto-driven hydraulic dump) and the two C's were reversed for hay sweeps. All the A's, B's and C's were pretty complete and sitting just as they had been parked when they'd apparantly "worn out" several years ago. And when I say "worn out" they were all pretty used up...sheetmetal rough, various welds, twisted front axle on one C, etc....then add in sitting outside for many years with no exhaust covering, tires rotten, etc.

Anyway, they all brought between 300-400 dollars....sold to an iron guy.

The M was a little better, still had it's faded paint anyway.....but missing one front wheel/hub on it's narrow front, no carb, bad tires, no grille shell....not sure of the year but it had an iron or brass shift knob....it brought about $600...from the iron guy.....more than I wanted to spend for what was there, and I have been looking for an M.

What I really went to see was a metal lathe and some WW2 Military Cletracs. The lathe wasn't all there and had one broken leg and went for $275. The cletracs were in various condition, from one pretty complete to one with no engine and a couple missing tracks....all 4 went for $450 each...again, to the scrapiron guy.....they were probably worth the money, at least the one was....but I didn't wanna try to get 'em outta there over the sandy trail roads.

A running but rough D-8 cat with cable dozer brought $4700.

Anyway, too dang hot out there...time to relax before going to mow hay.
