806 RD fuel pump rebuild?

I have a problem with the fuel pump on my 806 diesel. The priming plunger (on the bottom of the pump) is broken (and leaks profusely). The pump is original (circa 1968, Dad bought the tractor new) and it has never been rebuilt, or worked on!

Quetion: Does anyone still work on these pumps, or have replacements, or have any suggestions for repairing the tractor?

Thanks for any help!

Chris

I don't know about in your area but over here there is only one guy that does the RD pumps and they were only used on the earlie 806's as somewhere around late 64-or 65 they all went to the Roosa Master . Progressive Diesel Injection still has some parts for them . Harry was and old I H mechanic back in the days and went into the pump rebuilding . But he is a good bit away from you like 4 states.

So do you have a contact number or something (addy) for this guy that might work on the RD pump?

I know that this 806 is an early model, but Dad bought it brand new in early spring of 68!

Well i have been around the 806 from the showing at the Canfield fair in 63 and the man i worked for at the time Bought that tractor and a week later my uncle bought the next one to hit the area and they had the RD pumps on them but like i said some time around 65 I H started putting the Roosa Master on them as there was a big strike at the plant that made the RD pumps and I H just shut that plant down and went with Roosa Master for all back then. Now as for Harry's phone # 724-658-4690, ya want to talk to Harry Sr. and tell him that the Dan R. I H specialist over across the border told you to call him . He knows how much i like the Rd pumps. I would love to put one back on my 806 as mine was changed over when I H offered the change over kit .
