My 966 has a broken clamp that clamps the wheel to the axle. Does anyone have a good way to get the studs out of the clamp so the clamp can be removed from the hub?

Well if just one broke the rest should , now like i said should come out as the nuts are sorta a lock nut and the stud SHOULD back out of the hub as for the broken one ya can get in there with a tourch and burn off the broken one and remove the clamp to where ya work on it and drill the old stud as large as ya can as i do use the tourch and cut it out or heat and use a large easyout . when reinstalling use neverseeze . If the broken stud problem keeps up then it is worth the efforet to change the center out for wedge loc's .

Tough drilling a grade 8 bolt.

Tractor vet has the right idea - just hope the clamp is ok at the end. Sometimes your ok but other times the threads loose their strength and get messed up / stripped.

Cobalt drill bits are about the only ones that have any life drilling this stuff.
