case ih 445 baler update help please

well its does not seem to be the brake. the needles want to cycle all the time. The problem seems to be in the inner trip mechanisam behined the inboard knotter. the baler recently was working and had a lond road trip. any help

There is a plastic spacer that the bale length arm rides on You will have to loosen the bolts. This is bolted to the bale chamber, and move it toward the rear of the baler, to move the arm away from the tripped position. It generally doesn't take much movement to get it to work right.

Hi, There is not much inside the hub to go wrong but it could be sticking. Soak it good with WD40, make sure the arm and springs that connect to the measureing wheel are working properly. Good luck, Chuck
