Finished strippin down the engine today. Next stop is machine shop to get the block cooked and cleaned, and to get the crank turned. Crank isn't bad, I think .010 will do it. Depends on what they think. Then I'll get bearings. I figured since it's apart I'll put cam bearings in it. Ordered them yesterday. Doug N

I'm looking into a few options. I haven't found anyone yet that can tell me anything about the kits they sell. Weather they are domed or flat. Doug N

Did you manage to find a place to order cam bearings as a set?

When I did mine, I had to have the cam and the journals miked and bearings ordered individually to fit. My machine shop couldn't find a packaged set anywhere.

Yeah, actually I did. Fordson house just started listing them, it's a new item in their description.

When did you drop the "NUT" off your handle?

I don't know, last week I guess. Typed in a response one time and just used Farmall MD and didn't realize I forgot nut. It came up "if this is your handle....." so I just used it. Call it laziness I guess, just easier to leave off the "nut". Doug N
