I need to know somthing about taking the govenor weights out of the injection pump on a 560D, do you have to remove pump?, how does weights come out?, hard to do?, any help is appriciated! Thanks

What are you trying to do, blow it up???

You have to remove the top cover of the pump, take the governor linkage apart, then remove the metering valve.

The advance mechanism needs to be disconnected from the cam ring.

The "hydraulic head" has to be withdrawn from the pump housing, and the governor weight carrier and weights will come out with the hydraulic head.
