Last winter i put in a new pump in the 460 and it works toooo good !

have replaced the seals that lead to the rear fast hitch. Worked on the seals at the check valve. then on the touch control side of the fast hitch ..one side now the other is leaking like a sieve ! Can i take that whole ( 3 ) valves out and start on one end and go through each valve with new o rings? and How hard is that ? Read the article in Old Oak Farmalls that is where I got most of the information on fixing the relief valve, very helpful. Now how do I ever get this all to stop leaking ?

Any Imput is welcome...

Jim

If your relief valve is working and not shimmed to excessive pressure, there should be no reason for the leaks you have (except old age, or dammage fron overpressure. The seals and gaskets are pretty easy to do. Clean lint free rags, clean table, a dentil pick or two, and hydraulic fluid on everything is the answer. With a parts diagram and repair book (Blueribbon specific to the model is best), there is just time and care involved. Lay things in order on the bench. Be taking images to refer to, and put the pieces together with the same side facing the way it was when taken apart. Common care and sense. Go for it. JimN
