Plow moldboards will never scour properly after they have been through a fire.

Don,

All the temper in the steel is ruined from that fire.

Junk the plow and get another, because it will cause you nothing but grief from now on. Hook it up and it will act like one large hunk of rubber.

It will never be right.

Allan

I think it would depend on what was burned in the fire and how hot the fire got.

That was my thought also Allan, the only use that I could figure for that plow was for shows, definately NOT work, and no plow days.

my #70 3 bottom uses a 3 1/2 x 8 cylinder.

Photos appear to be broken...

Rims and tires are standard implement fare available at any decent farm equipment dealer, or a place that specializes in farm equipment tires. New may be more expensive and not the exact right part, but if you're desperate it sure beats waiting around for umpteen months waiting for someone to cough up the exact right parts.

Hydraulic cylinder is also a standard unit, probably a 4" diameter 12" stroke or something like that. Back then most implements used the same size cylinder so the farmer would only have to buy one, and move it from machine to machine.

At least that will allow you to get it up and rolling so it's a little easier to move around.

Side view, 6 x 16 plow. That is 8 feet wide, 16 feet a round. Don L.
