Does anyone have the length measurement of the fuel pump push rod on a 1939 F14?

I understand that the length is critical, and this MAY be part of the reason we aren't getting fuel up to the carb.

Thanks,

Ron

It should measure 7 inches. Check for wear on each end of the rod also, that can stop it from pumping correctly.

I dont see how that could be a problem with it not getting fuel unles its extremely wore out or has somehow broke. If that is suspect, I would remove the little oblong cover and check to make sure the linkage is still hooked up.

I have one laying here that shows a little wear on the ends and measures 6.992 long. I would guess it was an even 7 inches when new. hope this helps, Ed
