Where can a guy find a outer seal and the axle {rh side} for a 47 M? Or can the axle be repaired?

I welded one up that had the key way broken on it and ground it back down to work. So far it has held. I don't know what is wrong with his.

The seal is available from IH, I don't know about the axle. You may have to hunt in salvage yard for it. What is wrong with your axle?

The axle has groves worn in it from the seal housing cause the bearing was shot. The seal housing may even be bad,but I havent cleaned it up real good yet to see.

Not always! I recently purchased axle bearing from my local CIH dealer and they were cheaper than what I could get them for at my local carquest store. I also get a better deal on parts there than the average customer. I have never dealt with Napa or such cause with living in the city the don't know much about tractor parts.
