Im working on 130 Farmall for a friend. The tractor started missing with very little hours on a new motor. I threw in some new plugs and taht didn't help. The points are new and still look new. I was cranking the tractor over with the cap off and noticed that it wasn't sparking every time the points open. And when it would it was a weak orange spark. It does have a original coil on it so I thought that could be the problem. I put a new one on and its still the same way. Any other ideas or help? Thanks in advance guys!!

I worked on a neighbors Ford tractor that had problems with weak spark. Someone did a 12v "upgrade" and used an internal resistor coil with an external resistor. Took off the resistor, problem solved. you might check what the coil says on it.

That is the symptom of a bad condenser.

Sounds like a bad condenser or coil. It has a distributor correct??

A new set of points and condensor is relatively cheap. I'd try that before throwing money at any other part of it.

I would just change the condenser if the points look new.

I had a problem like yours. I was fortunate, and had a spare distributor and swapped them. I believe my problem was that the terminal in the side of the distributor had some oxidation that was reducing the flow of current to the points. I cleaned that terminal and then that distributor worked ok in a different tractor.
Good luck
