I seen the PERFECT tractor today for sale. Not sure what the guy wants, but its a Cub LoBoy, I believe the model was 154. The tires are nice wide turf tires, the tractor itself isnt very big compared to my 300u, but significantly beefier then my JD 110. Looks to be a 2 cylinder. Not power steering I dont think, not sure, the linkages are all I could see, if its PS, then its up under stuff. Did anyone make a loader for these? What are the weakneses? How many HP is it? Were alot made. Fill me in Guys, I'd be happy to get back on th board to bother ya all with my questions!!
BTW, no hour meter on this puppy that I seen. A good thorough once over will have to be done first, cracking all the plugs, compression test, etc, etc. Seems it also has hydraulics, as the deck is hydraulically moved. The deck is huge and THICK!. How good are the pumps on these? whats the flow rate and pressure?

I have a 154. They are pretty nice tractors, but pretty low in power, something like 15-17 HP. They are great tractors for mowing, but their useful goes down quickly after that. There are 3-points hitches available, but expensive and loaders are hard to come by. Don"t know much about how well they work. The PTO is non-standard so you can"t use normal implements. There is a great website for numbered series lo-boy owners. Give them a try before you buy anything. Mine is for sale in NE KS if you are interested. Go to yahoo groups and type in ihcubloboyseries. I"ve tried to paste it in and haven"t had much luck.
