I gotta tell you guys that i have farmall fever real bad. I am so interested in them i am going to try and get a picture of every tractor made. if i ever accomplish that i will try to get a pic of all the implements made by i.h. I belive a guy could spend a life time doing this, and i gotta tell you i would love evry min of it. I told my wife if i ever die i want her to put some toy tracters of farmalls in with me. I wish i could been one of the top guys at i.h. it would of been so cool to travel the world and see all the diffrent types of tractors and implements. I'm so glad my wife supports me with collecting farmalls. when i die my goal is to have 100 farmall tractors that all run and function as they should. I like seeing the pictures of the ones made in other countrys. I really like the look of the AM7! we might have to take a trip to down under. When i go to ebay in austriala they dont have nearly the farmalls we have on ebay. Is there another key word i should use? i tried international and farmall. they must not of been such a big player in other countries.

Johnny, IH was a very big player in Australia for many years. Their commitment included a big factory at Geelong for Ag. and at Dandenong for trucks. Smaller numbers on Ebay are a result of smaller overall market in Australia for new tractors. Remember our population was only about 10 million when IH was at a peak in the 60s & 70s. CaseIH are still a dominant force here particularly with headers (combines) where they hold around 65% of the market.

John,

For International Harvesters arcive collection of pictures and documents go to the Wisconsin historical societys website and seach for International Harvester collection. When IH was taken over, Case donated what pictures were left to the historical society.

Lots of the documents, pics and other stuff was donated by Brooks McCormick. Lots of other stuff was donated before Tenneco bought IH by the McCormick family.

Try CIMA-- Company international manufacturer agriculture-- literal translation for French. check McCormich(?), McCormic-Deering, English trademark for sales. German name?
