Hi guys, I must be dumber than a box of rocks. I have tried everything that everybody suggested and still cant send a picture. The daughter is comming over this evening to rescue dear old dad, how humiliating.Oh well I suppose it had to happen sooner or later that she knew more than the old man. Thanks for your help. Roger

I just figured out how to post pictures to the forum last week. I did it a little different. Apparently you can't upload picutures from you computer to the forum, but you can link a picture that you have already posted to the internet, to the forum. I went to photobucket.com and created a personal album and posted a picture of my tractor in it. Then I could copy and paste the internet address of that picture down in the lower box Optional image It worked. Does that make sense?

You cant post directly to the Forum but you can post
directly to the Tractor Photos on the left of the page Find the picture in your computer write down location. The select HELP IDENTIFY under Galleries on the left side of the page. When that opens select ADD YOUR PHOTO. Fill out the form Click on NEXT STEP. Then click on BROWSE and wait while the YT server finds you picture identifier that you wrote down. Then click on SUBMIT. Your picture will then be on the top of the list when you go back to HELP IDENTIFY. If you want to put it on a forum right click on your photo, and select COPY IMAGE LOCATION, Then back on the Forum, in the optional image U R L right click, and paste the U R L in the box. When you click on PREVIEW YOUR REPLY your picture should be there before you select, SUBMIT REPLY. If you want bigger pictures in your post try this.

I don't use the Massey, thats down at my daughters
to be used by my 14yr old grandson. He used it for the first time with this storm and said it works great. I would hardly have room to turn it around
up here. I use a 1978 Power King and it works good
as long as I can get the neighbors to push the pile
back once in a while. This picture is before the storm. A picture taken from that spot now, would show nothing but a mountain of snow.

Dave, thanks for the great tutorial. I copied the Photobucket information and saved it as text/photo in a folder I call yt on my c drive. I don"t have a clue how you got all the graphic info, etc. etc. put together, but I certainly am glad you did it and shared it with us. I have seen multiple picture posts before and it sure is a great way to show things - as they say a picture is worth...

I live at Pilot Grove, Mo. That is kinda the birthplace of the Missouri chapter of the IH collectors. I got in on the tail end of the first year and am considered a charter member. I dropped out for a long time (kidney transplant) and have just gotten back in. Got the kids grown up and have a little more time.

Gene, Nice to know you are from Pilot Grove. Was in Pilot Grove (you must be one of the 200 or so who live there) for the December IHC Chapter 1 meeting and wish I would have known this was home to you before as I would have certainly tried to meet you at the meeting. As Gary says there are quite a few of us on here from Missouri and I've made an effort to meet several of them. I'm down by Rolla and will try and meet you at one of the chapter meetings. I may even try and drag Gary along to one. Hope your son does well. I grew up with a neighbor boy who joined the Navy right out of high school and he did extremely well. He died while he was in the service from cancer and there is a hanger named after him in Louisiana. He was only in the enlisted ranks and heard that a rare dedication for someone who was not an officer. He had stripes all the way down his sleeve and he was in naval avaiation. Best of luck to you and your son and I'm sure he will do well. Nothing like a county boy being in the service as they can toughen it out. Going to get warmer next week, Hal.

I live on the farm about 4 miles east of PG. I was at the meeting.. Dont know if you remember, but when the sign up sheet was full, I took it up to the sec. at the head table and got a new sheet of paper. Do you know Miles Wolfe? He and I went to school together all 12 years.

No, I don't know Miles either. I've been a member for two or three years now and that was my second meeting. I also attended the one at the Cub-a-Rama this fall. I've met some members from the western part of the state and several down around the Springfield area. Mr. Mozark lives north of us about 30 miles and have seen Gary and Sharon on a number of occasions. I've also met a few members at the last two Red Power Round-up's like Ramona and the others who work the chapter table. Nice group of folks and enjoy them all very much and a great thing these old Farmalls are, Hal.

this is another time where new forum software would be nice. In many other more current forums im on, they can set "sticky" topics that are always on top when looking at the forum section. There is one for posting pictures in the forum help section along with other tutorials. It's a quite nice feature. I swear this question has been rehashed numerous upon numerous times...

Go to the left and choose a Gallery that most fits your image. Follow the directions to upload your pic. When it is loaded, go to it in that gallery, and pick it to open it. Place your cursor on the image and right click. From the list pick properties. From the properties, look at the location U R L. Start at the beginning of this and highlight it with your cursor. Use control C to copy it to your clipboard. Go to the forum (this one if that is where you want to use the image) and start a new thread, or respond to someone's thread. Describe what you are showing them and use enough explanation to make sense. In the box called Optional Image U R L at the bottom of the composition page, click once and then do a Control V to copy the image address to that box. Review should show you the info, and pic. Then submit. JimN
