I have looked through my books and they do show the control and a schematic of it but, none of them say for sure whether it is double acting or not. Since I have never had one I just do not know for sure. Keep reading someone here does know.

Bill I forgot part of your question I believe the select o lift is double acting. If not some one else will correct me.

Bill that is an original selective lift control for the Super MTA. It is to operate more than one remote cylinder independently of one another.

If it has live hydraulic pump it is easy to put a valve on to operate double acting cylinder wither the original "Christmas tree" valve or any open center hydraulic valve. I had the Christmas tree valve on my SMTA but wanted 2 remotes so went to a Prince valve.

First time I have ever seen anything like that if that indeed is what you have. I would think if what you have doesn't work, it would be rather simple to return to the orginal assuming you could find the required parts in a boneyard. Been a long term since I drove our old MTA, but I think the hydraulic controls may be similar to the M or at least adaptable. If old parts aren't available there surely must be some new hydraulic valves/controls available that you could certainly make work. I'm sure others will correct me if I am wrong.

It sounds like you have a Select-O-lift attachment. It is a IH hydraulic splitter for lifting one or both sides of a cultivator. I believe they are single acting so you will not be able to run a double acting cylinder.

If the pic doesn't show, goto item 250083719368 at eBay for the pic.
