I live outside the Denver area and my local John Deere/Ford/Kubota tractor dealer says he can't find what I'm looking for. My 51 H has a PTO pump for my (farmhand?)loader. There is a coupler between the PTO and the pump, or there used to be a coupler... Does anyone know where I can find a coupler with a standard 6 spline PTO on one end and a 7/8" shaft on the other, with a keyway and set screw in the keyway? Its approx 4.5" long.
Thanks in advance,
Guff

Baum hydraulics will have what you need. If they won't sell direct to you, get the dealer to call them, or ask the Baum folks if they have a reseller set up in your area.

You will probably find what you want at the link below. If you can't find it, the site has other pages.

These people (www.hubcityinc.com) are mfgs. Copy the part # and call your local bearing house. You could also contact McMaster-Carr, MSC, or Graingers and give them the HubCity info.

You can make one by buying a weld on hub for a sprocket and any PTO splined coupler and welding the two together.

Might have to have a machine shop put the splined end in a lathe to get it cut straight.

You forgot to tell him he needs two sprockets the same and a piece of double roller chain for the coupling.

Gene to drive a pump like that he could weld the two hubs together.

Try TSC they usually have a few couplers for spray pumps. I am not sure if they are heavy enough to handle hydraulic pump.
