got dad's 504 in from the ranch to work on. Where do you check all the trans and rear end fluid levels and where do you pour in the fluid. Is the lift separate?? and what fluids go where...

I'm repairing a rear axle leak and need to add back to the fluids... thanks.. bill

There is only one place to check the rear end oil. The rear end, transmission and lift are all one resivour that holds the Hytran. On the left side of the tractor below the clutch pedal there is a steel line with an elbow that goes into the transmission case. On the elbow there is a 1/8 pipe plug, remove it and oil should just drip from it if the level is correct. You add oil by removing a large plug in the area of the shifter on the deck.
