I was out looking for a parts tractor for my W9 project and found one with a two piece intake/exhaust manifold. The name Johnson machine is cast into the intake. It looks to be in good shape. Does anyone know anything about this manifold?

Well if thats the case, its perfect for you. No exhaust heating up the intake, means colder air going in=more power!

The manifold is for LP use. It will work good unless you are running the tractor in cold weather.

Thanks Red, I plan on using the W9 for pulling so cold weather is not a problem. This type of intake is a first for me so I had to ask.
