I purchased the following in 1999: Super A with Woods 59 inch mower $1850; 2001: C with rear mount sickle mower $1650; 2005: C with wide front $1550. All run and were in good condition. All from central-western KS. If you pay over $2000 in this area for one of those, it had better be restored.

I would think a really nice C would fetch between 3000 and 4000. Good rubber, sheetmetal, paint, sound engine. The mower shouldn"t add a whole bunch unless it"s really new.

$1200 for my '48 model bought in 2003.

Needs paint, I was told it had an overhaul, but who knows (valve cover gasket and the head gasket were new.)

$3000, that's probably getting close to top for most restored ones, but $4000? You show me a buyer wanting to pay that and I might go ahead and go through mine, of course it'll cost me $2000 (or more) to make it like new and then there's no profit.
