I need a U drawbar for an M Farmall. Is drawbar for the 300 utility the same as the 300 rowcrop?

If you are at right place at right time they are out there . Saw a good U drawbar complete (less swinging part) at flea market couple of months ago for $25 and it was the heavy one, should have bought it.

Drawbar parts are a dime a dozen. You should be able to easily find one on ebay or at a local salvage yard. Otherwise, post a wanted ad in the Classified sections, not in this discussion group.

The 300 drawbars are not the same from the Utility to the Farmall, unless you mean the drawbar that clips into the Fast Hitch. Then they're the same, or close enough to say so.

Nat, I'll argue with you a little on the "dime a dozen". I've been to a lot of swap meets, looked at a bunch of M drawbar parts, including the U shaped piece, brackets, brace rods, swinging drawbars, rollers, etc. I have never found any of those parts that were any better than what I wanted to replace, and most were in far worse condition. I did run across a few that were in exxcellent condition, but priced higher than a new reproduction. I have a brand new swinging drawbar from Tisco, it's a dead ringer for an original.

I was wondering, you said a new one from Tisco is just like the origional. I need one for my H, I was wondering, is the side part( the thickness part ) rounded or square? Thanks!!
