I have a Marvel carb on my B. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what to replace it with. The housing where the baffel is worn out and need to almost choke tractor completely to keep it running. Thanks

I know it is difficult to even think this....but...if you check with your local IH dealer, the Marvel-Schebler Gasoline carb is still available for roughly $300. I found that out while looking to replace the carb on my 1940 Farmall A

Some carburetors can be rebuilt and some can not. Your local Case/IH dealer can tell you. You can buy new and/or rebuilt ones from several sources. I prefer Zenith carbs, but thats just me. Dave.

Do you mean the throttle shaft and the bores (bushings?) it fits in are worn?

If that's all that's wrong, it should be repairable.

Yeah, that seems to be the problem. Do they sell a kit for this kind of thing?

Yes, they sell a kit for that. Get a good kit from your Case/IH dealer. (The cheaper kits sold elsewhere may not have the throttle bushings you need.) mike
