3 pt hitch lift - push plate?

Hello all,

I'm thinking of using my 460 regular with an aftermarket 3 pt to pull or lift some old trucks weighing from 8k to 14,000 lbs.

The 3 pt mounts only to the rear axle, so I'd like to mount that to the rear case better. I also want to tap new threads in the wobbled out hitch under the belly.

Assuming that those are successful, how much should I expect the tractor to do? I'd like to make a harness mounted on the 3 pt that will allow me to lift the lighter trucks or put weight on the tractor when I pull out the bigger ones.

Any experiences like this? Thank you

I believe these 3 pts on the 460 are rated for around 8000lbs. Dont expect to lift that much weight, pulling should be ok, justdont get crazy, and make sure your brakes are in GOOD shape.
