Can anyone tell me how long the exhaust pipe needs to be for the exhuast manifold? I am replacing a rotted off one and need to know the length.

Chad: I'd go with 8 to 10 inches, nice to get that mufler and connection up from hood a bit. I know my tractors all have at least 5" above the hood.

Now, I don't have the total length for them and with this sub zero weather, I'm not going to my shop to check. You just measure from your hood to bottom of threaded area in manifold, then add 5", or 4" or whatever suits your fancy.

on an H or M it is 2" schedule 40 black iron pipe anywhere from 10 to 13" long including threads. 4" above hood on side toward center of hood. JimN
