My F-14 data tag is missing and the serial number on the engine block is also gone(in front of the fuel pump). Is there any more places they stamped the serial number? Like the frame?

Ok thanks. I found the flat surface by the fuelpump. The number is gone. Looks like the block was removed at one time and welded. There is a number on a flat surface by the govener but it looks like a part number not a serial number. Oh well thank you for the information. I bought an original data tag for a F-14 so I guess my F-14 will have the serial number on the data tag I bought. If I ever part with my F-14 I'll let the new owner know that is not its original serial number.
Another question. What steering wheel did the F-14 have? Mine has a cast steering wheel. I looked at pictures on here and I see rubber coated steering wheels on everyones F-14. My wheel looks original and neet so I will keep it.

Mine had the rubber wheel,I remeber it from when I was a kid and it was sitting along the edge of the woods, but the guy who "restored" it put steel one on it.
