Well, withspring in sight on the horizon, I've been thinking about adding a coupla gauges to my 826. The problem is there doesn't seem to be many sanitary choices for mounting them. I will be mounting a mechanical oil pressure gauge and a pyrometer.

I think I can safely eliminate the air filter gauge (I'm after the filter often enough) and use that hole, but that leaves me one to place. I'm sure some of y'all are "gauge-o-haulics" like me and have some sanitary ways to mount them?

Go to the bone yard and get another air filter gauge holder, pop the gauge you want in, mount it on the other side of the existing one.

Like KB said I used a 66 series 3 guage pod on my 856 and 1206.They make a pyro guage in the 2'' size to fit the holes.

When the M&W turbo kits were installed, the pyro was mounted on the top of the left dash cowl. A hole was drilled in the cowl for the cable to run through, and the mounting bracket attached with three small self-tapping screws. I've often wondered if a guy could take the panel for the fuel, oil pressure, and air cleaner guages from a 66 series that mounts above the steering wheel and modify it to fit a 06/26/56. That would look pretty neat.

Add an extra flat panel/strip to the top of the air filter guage bracket to mount 2 gauges in.

Clean mounting and it won't clutter the dash or deck. The panel you add can hold 2,3,4 or more guages it you like.
