Looked at a 101 H T today trying to figure what cubic inch this 6 clyinder engine has the only number stamped on the engine was HT101 and under that was the serial # 3146.Thanks for any help.I have not been able to find model #101 anywhere. Thanks again

Thanks Guys! I found some more info last night,it says the 101 was an IH 220 BD wich is the IH truck verision,also it is a sleeveless motor,does anyone know if these heads are interchangeable with IH221 or263? Thanks again

In the late 60's we had a 101 combine and if I remember correctly it had a BD-220 6 cyl engine on it, That was 35 years ago and the memory isn't as good as it once was. Dave

In 1956 IH offered a smaller combine called the No. 101. This proved to be a popular machine on moderate sized farms. It was the right size, right capacity and the right versatility for grain, bean and corn growers. The 58hp, 6 cylinder powered combine could handle 10ft, 12ft and 14ft grain headers and a 2 row corn head. The 101 featured a long 28 inch separator.
