Howdy, Boys. Are the 300/330/350 Utility models notorious for developing looseness in the steering - more so than many other models? If so, are the parts readily available to repair? Or, is this something an owner just has to live with? Thanks. mike

Me and my brother have owned all three and have had good luck tightening up the loose steering. Most people on this site gripe about the steering on the utilities these tractors are 50 plus years old they didn't get that way over night.Any tractor that age has slack in the steering unless it hasn't been used. But to answer your question parts are not available but they can be repaird, worn gears can be welded up, new tie rods make a big difference and some just need to be adjusted.

I agree completely. There is also (in these archives) a source for replacement power steering systems (nonstock but powerful and clean install) JimN
