54 Super H Update

I pulled the hydraulic resivior apart from my project 54 Super H today. When I drained the hydraulic oil some water came out with the oil so I decided I'd better clean it out. Well it looks like that water had allready did its damage to the valve body. Good thing that it only cracked the oil return part of the housing and not the pressure side. Every thing fits tight so I think I'll just bolt it back together and see if it holds pressure when I get the engine back in. Unless someone has an extra casting they want to get rid of.

That piece is also used on SM and SMTA with IH live hydraulic. Those units turn up for sale more than SH ones.

I would get a different housing, it is easy to pull if it is not going to work, but it does look pretty bad. JimN
