im beginning to think that redoing this W-6 is kind of a waste, cause there hardly anything out there for these type,s, and finding stuff is like a needle in a haystack,
Was thinking of trading for something else but dont know as yet?
mann O man I need grace, and patience on this thing without wanting to give up on it.

It seems that as far back as I can remember you have done nothing but knock this tractor for one reason or another, just sell the thing and be done with it! I have an M Id gladly trade for it if you would be willing to drive to SC with the -6 and pick up the M!

Hi Kirk
Re- your W-6...They are lots of them in Canada or at least Ont. Don't know if this will help you but W-4 and W-6s were very common here. My father has two W-4s, SW-4, W-6 & a Wd6. Our first tractor was a W-4 that I have been driving since I was a pup. They were a very good tractor for their time.
Should you get her all fixed up you will have a real classic that is less common.
Farmall M shares most of the parts that were used in a W-6. Any engine parts you need are the same.... Hope this helps...Eldon from Ont.

dont loose faith, the w's arent as common as the row crops, and it is a fun tractor to drive. i have a w-9 and altho its hard to find parts for, the old timers really enjoy seeing her working in the field. the power steering brackets are for the ram assist, char lynn made the kit. my w-9 has power steering and it really makes the old girl easy to drive.

Hi glenn
Im here with ya brother,
thr reason those welded peice,s were on it cause some turkey tried to put power steerring on it, and had to modify thing,s around to make it work,
It had a loader on it, I took it off, piece of junk,
had lines for lever,s for loader on a made up iron plate on side of left fender on pole, trashed that, and the lines too with the loader,
so,,,, right now
Im wanting to put it back to stock as much as i can,
so,,,, that was it in a nutshell,
