I finally tore down the engine on the SC. When the gear on the old hydraulic pump went, it took off half the teeth from the cam gear. It showered all of those down into the crank gear. What a mess. Anyway, the crank was in good shape otherwise, and cleaned up at 10 under on both main and rod journals. I got the block hot-tanked and it sure looks perty. Now I'm down to ordering parts. Keith-OR, that crank pulley puller sure did a nice job.

Chris, I"m in Spokane, got a Super C I bought in an estate sale a couple of years ago, still getting familiar with the essentials. Hope you"ll get a chance to share some pictures with us, as the parts manual sometimes leaves me with more questions than answers!

Great Chris, gees I thought you had that thing tore down and back together by now. Along with rest of tractor cleaned up, painted and ready for all the up coming shows...LMAO

Oh did you make the attachment to press the pulley back on??

If you can't find the gears let me know, have a friend that just changed engine on his SA, so he should have some engine parts. He also has my puller to remove his pulley. I made another one, need to do a few things to get it just the way I want it.

I just have to give Chris a bad time, he is only about 3 1/2 to 4 hrs northwest of me in Seattle, WA area. By the looks of where he is at, not too far from "migraine".
