Just wondering if anyone had a pump block off plate for a super c. I want to restore the hyd. system after the motor, and I want the plate to temporarily block it off until I go through the pump. Thanks Patrick

Yeah, like Hugh mentioned before, can be easily made. I made one for my C since the pump was bad (previous owner ran it for a while after the oil leaked into the base). And since I dont use the hydraulics on the C anyways, I just used the pump as a template and made a plate to fit. Works good. Good luck with your tractor.

Patrick: Just about any flat steel plate with a bit of gasket black will do the trick. Even plywood will work. I used to block off the hole where IPTO goes on Farmalls 300 and 560 and keep on using the tractor while PTO was being rebuilt. I just used 3/4" good one side plywood, designed to withstand weather. My plywood patch had oil 1/3 of the way up and never leaked. Your SC wont have oil against it, just splash from timing gears.
