I've come across an f-20 on ebay that is close to where i live and it is supposedly a narrow rear end. The pics are very poor but it looks like it is either a 1938 or 39.
Did farmall ever produce a narrow rear end f-20?

I don't know why it's so hard to get a straight answer on this question. Yes, Narrow rear end F-20's were an option. Though relatively lesser in number I wouldn't describe them as particularily rare.

My winter project this year is a F20N with a non ajustable wide front and high speed transmission. Its a 1937.

Most F-20's had narrow front (dual tricycle). Only a small presentage had a wide front axle. Tricycle most common, single front next common, wide front least number.

They are more collectable because relative to the total number of F-20s built they are less in number. We have very few F-20 and F-30 out here so they are all rare here however when you find a California F-20 they are often narrow with single fronts. If one was ordered for out here they often were narrow single fronts. I know of two within 20 minutes of me and another within 90 minutes. I think if it's a narrow single front it is most rare of the narrow versions with all narrows more collectable the the wide. Rare? Maybe more properly said to be more collectable. GO GITIT!!

Are we talking about a narrow front end or a special narrow rear end?
