Can anyone tell me if IH painted the hydrulic hoses on a SMTA from the factory?

Our SMTA had painted hoses until they were replaced somtime in the 80's or 90's. Seemed like they lasted a long time for a loader tractor.

I didn't mean to imply that the paint fell off immediately. I have 1958 460 that still has most of the paint on the lower radiator hose, doubt if it is the original after nearly 50 years as it is still in good shape. I'm going to reuse it when I finish the tractor and remove the paint as best I can. I just like them better black.

If they were installed before the tractor was painted, they were painted. I imagine they were installed. However, hoses, fan belts, etc look a LOT better to me unpainted. The paint eventually cracks and partially falls off. When it comes to things like that, I am not a purist.
