F11 Loader Braces

I've got a Farmahand F11 loader on an M. The loader diagonal braces are attached to the frame rail in one of the slots. I've spent 30 hours or so since just before Christmas pushing and stacking snow, and those braces are "working" in the slots. I'm in Elizabeth, CO and we've had 6 feet or so since that storm just before Christmas.

Does anyone have a better attachment method at the bottom of the braces? I'm considering a plate that would put bolts at the opposite ends of two slots, or fabbing a plug that would change the slot to a hole.

Yes,

Part of your loader is missing. Wish mine was closer, I'd show you a picture.

Attach a 1/2" thick plate to the tractor rail at three bolts holes drilled at opposite ends of the slots and using machine bolts (square shouldered).

Then attach the strut to that plate using a 1/2" or 5/8" grade 8 bolt.

Like so? Assume that the holes are offset like the slots:

Perzackly what I thought you meant.

Thanks.

And I now fully understand the bottom brace you descibed a while back as well.

Have you gotten much real moisture out of the last few "weather events"?
