Does anyone know if the side mower for the 140 is the same as the side mower for a Cub.

Thanks!
Gary

Gary: They are different, the drive shaft going from rear to center of tractor turns the opposite direction. The kicker is the pitman drive hub at front, it is threaded on and one uses left hand thread a nd the other right hand thread. That is the big one. Also the pto drive pullies are different sizes.

Besides that mounting is different, that part could be fabricated quite easily. I seen folks do the fabrication, only to find out about the drive line later.

Thanks Hugh, I guess I just wasn't thinking when I posted my question. I knew about the rotation direction difference. I guess that's why they have the old saying about 2 heads being better than 1.

Gary: I know a guy near by bought a cub mower, fabricated mounting for SA, had it all mounted perfect, then discovered the rotation item. One hears about these and when they are close by you don't forget. I wish some other items would stay with me as well as that one has.
