Glow plugs are probaly burned on 560 Anyone know a website or phone # to a dealer who might have these. This tractor is difficult to start without them.

To make sure they ARE burned out, you can test 'em yourself with a regular test light. Hook the clamp to your battery + terminal if neg ground; hook to - terminal if pos ground. Probe the glow plug connectors with the wires unhooked. If it lights up the glow plug's good.

Exactly,

Just be sure you unhook the feed wires first or you'll be getting a false reading across all plugs.

I needed glow plugs for my TD-340 about a year ago. The local IH dealer had some in stock. They are the same as the ones for the 560. IH part number is 304131 R2. I expect you can get them from Carter & Gruenewald by calling them, or visit the website cngco.com. As I recall the plugs were aroung $20 each.

Don't know right off hand, but those glowplugs are out there. Try your Case-IH dealer, maybe N.A.P.A.?
I'll dig through my catalogs and see if they are listed.
