Just curious what a fair price is for a Farmall 460 with underbelly shredder. There is one for sale and I am considering it, but would like to pay fair price, whatever that is.

Go over to the photo ads. There are 7 of them listed right now. Select "tractors" then search for "460". I like the 4500 dollar model, it's probably the best tractor for the money of them all.

What is an underbelly shredder?

I meant "belly shredder". Does that make more sense? The shredder is under the tractor and between the front and back wheels.

Do you mean a mower? Is it used for cutting grass?

Yes, a mower. They call them shredders here in Texas... LOL

O.K., but we need more info. What is the condition of the tractor? Is it a row crop, or a utilty, or a standard tread? If it is a row crop, does it have a single front, narrow front, or wide front? Is it gas, diesel, or propane? Are the tires good, or just so-so? Is the sheet metal all there, and is it nice and straight? Does it need to be painted?

Now, what about the mower? How wide is it? What brand is it? and again, what is the over-all condition?

I'll get more detailed information and post it later.
