Is it possible to mount 15.5X38 tires on a 12X38 rim or can I put the 14 inch wide 560 wheels onto the M stock centers

third party image

If they will not bolt on can I take the cast centers off of the 560 and mount on my MD so I can put the tires and wheels on.

I have 560 hubs and double bevel rims with 15.5s on my SMTAD. I need new rims and tires. I've been looking around for a good used set, everybody tells me they have a good set on double bevel farmall rims. Always turns out that they have a good set on drop center farmall rims. The double bevel is not really a "Farmall" thing. It is pretty standard on all makes around the age of the 460-560 etc. Seen them on JD's and alot of others. Only difference is color.

I think the more important question is why do you need that much traction on an MD? What did you do to it!!!

I have 13.6X38 on it now and some guys that I know are looking for a tire with IH rim. I am going to sell them cause they are all weather checked. I have this 560 in the yard with no motor so I will use the tires off it. I rebuilt the motor and will easily spin the 13.6's right off it in loose soil pulling a disc.

put the hubs and rims from the 560 on your md. they are the same axle.

Yes, you will have to change the whole thing: Rim, tire, and hub.

On the 560, the rims are the "double bevel" type. The MD has a "drop center" type rim.

In a nutshell, the double bevel rims will not fit the drop center hubs.
