It's a pre-production Frameall. Not a Farmall A.

The Framealls were kinda a preliminary Super A, with a very different hitch system and developmental live hydraulics. There's several in existence, with various bits of the experimental stuff left. There's a very complete Frameall near Edgar Wisconsin, and a bare bones one that was just found in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Neat find. Does it still have the funky hydraulics on it, or was the unit taken off?

I don't know what your number is, but it's not a Farmall A serial number.

A Farmall A serial number would have a prefix FAA and the first one made was serial number FAA 501.

Sorry, that FRA 124 doesn't look familiar to me. Where on the tractor did you find it?
