Wanted? looking for info on parts to rebuild oil pumps for C169, C175,C264 and C281 gas engines. Most parts and pieces I have found not available from dealer or aftermarket for these pumps. Most pumps and or pieces from salvage places are in worst shape than what you already have. Thanks for any info. Jim thanks for the info. Been there bought that t-shirt,I always end up milling the end plate myself and able to get the shim gaskets. As far as the rest of the important pieces like gear set, relief valve, housing body etc. they are a deadend. You could at one time get the driveshaft from dealer ,large dollars for that item. It was cheaper to buid one. It agravates me that you can obtain just about every part and piece to do a good overhaul except one of the most important parts like the oil pump.I have ended up buiding a decent pump out of 3 or 4 used ones. These used pumps are even harder to find with salvageable pieces in them. Thanks for the imput anyways. PORKY B.

Sorry Porkey, I do not think anyone makes new, or rebuilds them. Some gears are available (NOS) but not for all models, and I have no leads. Flat grinding and clearancing the end plate, and possibly having a good machinest put a bushing in the shaft hole is all that can usually be done. JimN
