Did all the 300 Farmall row crops come with a straight 2150 color or where some with the white insert and grills? Have a 1956 and was wondering. Thanks

The IH paint code for the red at that time was 1102b. 1102b replaced IH 50 in 1949, 2150 did not appear until 1961 and replaced IH 201, which in 1958 replaced 1102b, with the introduction of the 460/560, etc. I do not know the difference in shades. However, 2150 is fine for about any IH tractor except the models built after about 1980?? Except that it has more orange in it than the original 2150 -- Meaning that you are not going to match the original color, anyway. The code for the white is on the 350 is IH 901.

The Farmall 300"s were all red. When the Farmall 350"s came out, they were red with white grilles and with white behind the Farmall lettering on the sides of the hood. Some 300"s were repainted to look like 350"s during this time by the dealers. Personally, I like the red/white combo, but to be correct it should be all red.
