Tittle says it all can u put a super motor in a standard M and will most parts interchange?

The crankshafts are different after serial no. 278050. The journal size is different and so are the rods,according to my book.

Yes and no, Late M used same crank as SM, before that smaller diameter rod and main journals. Bigger journal cranks used thiner bearings so diametter in block where main bearings go is same between engines. SM and M rods are same size. In size about only differance between blocks is the SM block bore before sleeves is 1/8 inch bigger diameter than M.

I think they bolt right up even 400 and 450 should bolt right in.
