Well if the rear tires are also bad probably scrap price. I'd guess at around $150-300. Now if it ran then it could go up around $500-750 and thats with bad tires

I gave $1200 for my 1948 C tractor with mounted 2 bottom plow. I have since put new rubber on the front, a new manifold, muffler, and bought a battery box. I did some rewiring for reliabilty. Runs good, my daughter takes it to the county fair and club shows.

The previous owner had the head off, claimed he had a valve job done on it and new pistons, rings bearings. "Built it like a super c". (All I can verify is that it does have a new head gasket as I can see that.)Clutch, brakes and lift ok. Shifts in all the gears.

It needs paint and lights, although I have the original rear worklight with red bulb that I found a replacement lens for. Rear tires have excellent tread, but are mismatched (size). Both have some weather cracks.

Including my initial cost I have $1400 in it. I would part with it for that. (My daughter wants an Oliver now). I'm in central Indiana. I would be willing to deliver for fuel cost upto 100 miles.

I've been to your site and checked out the photo's of your sale items. Your just farther away than I want to go for a tractor... unless it was free and the model I wanted. I would probably risk blowing the tranny in the truck to haul that.

I have to move one out of the barn before I can get a replacement. The "boss" won't allow me to clutter up the place and if I buy without selling she thinks she needs something of equal value..

Shoot if I had that problem I would probably have around 100 goats on my place. As long as my wife gets to have her goats which at this time is just 3 she doesn't mind me have as many tractor as I want. She still wants her own tractor but so far none of the ones I have hauled in are what she wahts so I just need to keep hauling them in till she likes one. I know what I would like to find but, they all seem to sell a lot higher then I can afford and are way to far away. I've love to find her an Oliver Super 44 or a 440, or a MM UDLX. Ya I know I'm dreaming on that MM UDLX but want the hey I figure if I set my sights on something high I might just find something inbetween

There was a S44 that sold on Ebay recently. It was 10 miles from the house. To rich for me tho. I do know where there is a 440 Oliver tucked in a barn just down the street. The barn is on property adjacent to a field a farmer friend of mine does his crops. He used to own the home so I"m sure he knows the owner. In the few years of me seeing it in there through the open doors I don"t think it"s moved. I"ve never had the thought to inqure.

My daughter would like one. There"s another that shows up to the local fair, might even be the same one.

Ya thats the problem with the S44 and the 440 and the UDLX they always bring to much money for my back pocket. What I think is sort of funny about the S44 is if you painted it red and then had people walk by it at say 50 yards they would swear it was a Farmall cub not and oilver Super 44. Of course you would need to leave the decals off of it to do that
