Will a 1206 handle a 12 row cultivator?

We haven't cultivated much in the last fifteen years but intend to do quite a bit this year. The 6 row isn't going to cut it anymore. I have wanted to have a 1206 for a long time but haven't had a good excuse. The other tractors will be tied up when we need to cultivate so I am thinking of adding an older tractor to handle this duty. Will a 1206 handle it or should I go with a 1256 or 1456? I know a neighbor that used to do a little bit of 12 row cultivating with an 806 but it was pretty scary when turning. Just wondered what your thoughts were on this. Thanks.

The 966 and 1066 would handle it OK, and are probably the best buys around right now.

Oh, heck yeah.

Get the front end weights on 'er and a 766 will pull a 12-row and turn the end row just fine. They don't pull that hard.

Well if its a buffalo cultivator it might not work. With Danish tine you should be able to get by.
