I purchased a 1967 Farmall 504. The owners manual indicates that you can check the transmission fluid on the left side of the transmission (where the clutch is located at).
However, there is nothing located on that side where you can check the fluid. Does anybody have a 504 or know where you can check the fluid level?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Operator's manual is correct, you just have not found it yet. On left side of transmission housing, three inches toward the rear from the joint of center trans. section and rear trans. section and about 9-10 inches down from topside of rear trans. top cover plate there is a hex head pipe plug screwed into the side of trans. housing . Screwed into this pipe plug is a small hex head bolt (7/16" wrench). Remove the small bolt and fill trans. housing through large pipe plug located on top of housing until fluid flows out small hole on side of trans. housing.
