I`m starting to rebuild some Housings mine were broke. I was wondring what determines how many shims go in and how do you do the preload since the bearing presses on? I thought I would try to heat the outside bearing. Thanks ahead of time...This site is awsome and I really enjoy the pictures of other peoples tractors....Bobby

Thanks Ron for the reply. I have been to the Cub site and looked at all the manuals, but their not all that clear so I thought someone on this site has done an axle before could help. Bobby
